A bit more about me...
I'm a User Experience Designer based in New-Delhi and currently working at Adobe. At present, I'm leading design for Photoshop Express and Photoshop Elements. On the side, I co-lead the IxDA (Interaction Design Association) Delhi-NCR chapter and help foster knowledge exchange in the local community.
I'm a problem seeker and am committed to make human-centered products. I have published my research in numerous international conferences during my post graduation at Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. I was awarded with a national innovation award, More from Less for Many (MLM) - Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award in 2014 for my master thesis "Parichaya".
My work is focused on discovering new possibilities and creating usable and delightful experiences that affect billions of people. I always start my projects with a thorough research. Taking the high level product vision, understanding its users and their problems, and creating empathy form a vital part of my design process. Analysing these insights help me better understand the problem space. Ideation, prototypes and testing in an iterative fashion helps me to ensure the solution is usable and effective. I love working closely with my design team, product managers, engineering teams and other stake holders to design useful and usable products.
I spend my spare time reading, drinking coffee, running/working out, playing AOE/Dota/CS, listening to music and watching all kinds of movies/TV-Series.
